What Is NSF Certification?
This globally recognized certification ensures that dietary supplements meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and transparency. Products that hold this certification undergo rigorous testing to verify that they do not contain unsafe contaminant levels, substances prohibited by major athletic organizations, or masking agents, and that the label is accurate. How Are Supplements Certified?
Manufacturing facilities must undergo a yearly GMP audit, and supplements must meet the following 3 criteria: have a toxicological review of ingredients and verify that formulas meet the claims and contents of their labels; finished formulas are tested for potentially harmful levels of contaminants, such as heavy metals, pesticides, and more; and the finished formulas are screened for more than 290 athletic banned substances.
